Zubereitung

Eier trennen. Eiweiße steif schlagen. Zucker nach und nach einrieseln lassen. Zu einer glänzenden Masse rühren. Eigelbe unterrühren. Mehl mit Speisestärke, Kakao oder Vanillepuddingpulver und Backpulver mischen und darüber sieben. Alles vorsichtig unterheben.
Biskuitmasse in eine mit Backpapier ausgelegte Springform (26cm) geben und glatt streichen.
Im vorgeheizten Backofen (E-Herd: 200 Grad, Umluft: 175 Grad, Gasherd: Stufe 3) ungefähr 30 Minuten backen.
Abkühlen lassen und in 3 Böden teilen.
Sahne mit Sahnesteif aufschlagen.
Nun beginnen die Varianten: Entweder etwas von der Sahne aufheben, um die Torte damit auszukleiden oder Sahne und Quark vermischen und davon etwas aufbewahren. Die Sahne-Quark-Masse kann beliebig abgeschmeckt werden, auf dem Foto enthält ein Teil Schokostreusel, der andere Mandarinen (+Vanillezucker zum Abschmecken). Gut vorstellen könnte ich mir beim dunklen Teig bspw. Bananen oder Pfirsiche, die Sahne kann natürlich auch mit Schokolade vermischt werden. Die Torte mit der restlichen Sahne auskleiden. Marzipan mit Puderzucker und Lebensmittelfarbe verkneten, ausrollen und mit Plätzchenausstechern Herzen ausstechen - natürlich geht auch jede andere Farbe und Form, daher ist die Torte super variabel und zu jedem Anlass verwendbar ;) Die Torte damit dekorieren, in den Kühlschrank stellen und zu guter Letzt: schmecken lassen! :)
