Zubereitung

Hier die Zutaten für etwa 50 Vanille-Kipferl
1 Tütchen Vanille-Zucker, ein halbes Pfund Mehl, Halber Teelöffel Backpulver, 1 Prise Salz, 100g gemahlene Mandeln, 200g Butter, 200g Puderzucker und 2 Eigelb (Und eine Stunde Zeit für die Zubereitung und Wartezeit für Teig im Kühlschrank sowie das Backen)

Für den Teig Backpulver, eine Prise Salz, Vanille-Zucker und zwei Drittel(!) vom Puderzucker in eine Schüssel geben. Vom Ei nur das Eigelb hinzugeben. Sodann mit Butter und Mandeln zu einer gleichmäßigen Masse kneten. Danach soll die Masse im Kühlschrank oder im Winter auf dem Fensterbrett ruhen!. Ein Backbleck einstreichen / mit Backpapier auslegen. Und die Backröhre vorheizen. (Wir brauchen ca. 200 Grad. Bei Umluft etwas weniger. Auch den verbliebenen Rest Puderzucker bereitstellen. Und aus dem Teig nach ca. einer Stunde einfach der Handgröße entsprechend kleine Würste rollen und diese als kleine Sicheln / Halbmonde auf dem Blech auslegen. Dann etwa zehn bis 15 Minuten in den Herd. Die gebackenen Vanillekipferl mit dem restlichen Puderzucker bestäuben. Nach Belieben natürlich auch weiter verfeinern. (Zum Beispiel auch mit Schokoherzchen, Streuseln garnieren. Oder halb in zerlassene Schokolade tauchen.)
