So hier die Sachen für die Zubereitung:

200 g Mehl
300 g Zucker
100 g Mandel(n), gemahlen
100 g Mandel(n), gehackt
80 g Kakaopulver, oder 60 g und 20 g Pulver für heiße Schokolade
1 Pck. Backpulver
1 Prise(n) Salz
5 Ei(er)
200 ml Öl
100 ml Espresso, oder starker Kaffee
100 ml Rotwein
1 Pck. Vanillinzucker
Gewürz(e), nach Wahl, z.B. Zimt, Anis, Nelken, Koriander, etc.
Blockschokolade, für die Schokoglasur
30 Mandel(n), zum Dekorieren

Zubereitung

Arbeitszeit: ca. 25 Min. Backzeit 60 Minuten

Mehl und Backpulver mischen. Zucker, Kakao, Salz, Vanillin und Gewürze mischen. Gemahlene und gehackte Mandeln in eine Schüssel geben. Rotwein und Espresso mischen.

Eier schaumig schlagen. Im Wechsel Zuckermischung, Mandeln und Öl zu den Eiern zufügen (Handmixer Stufe 2-3). Anschließend im Wechsel Mehlmischung und Rotwein-Espresso zufügen. Kurz nochmal alles auf höchster Stufe verrühren.
Backform fetten und mehlen. Teig einfüllen. Bei 175°C Ober-/ Unterhitze 60 min backen.
Nach dem Backen den Kuchen aus der Form nehmen und auf einen Rost legen.

Ganze Mandeln in kochendes Wasser geben, 1 min köcheln lassen, anschließend mit kaltem Wasser abschrecken, enthäuten und halbieren. Die halbierten Mandeln auf Küchenkrepp trocknen lassen.
Blockschokolade über einem Wasserbad erhitzen. Schokolade auf dem noch warmen Kuchen verteilen und den Kuchen mit den Mandeln dekorieren.
